A new series regular for Arrow's second run is confirmed!Fresh off the hot news that Arrow will return for a second full season of twenty-two episodes later this year, The CW has begun (reportedly) releasing details of what the new run will hold for the show's characters. Firstly, it's been confirmed that Emily Bett Rickards, the actress who plays Felicity Smoak (a computer genius and as of next week an ally to the Hood), will become a series regular in Season Two. This presumably means that after Season One's fourteenth episode- The Odyssey- airs next week, we'll see a lot more of Rickards' character in action when she learns of Oliver Queen's vigilante alter-ego and attempts to start his transformation into a fully-fledged hero. It's an intriguing cast development to be sure, and one that will with any luck seriously alter the character dynamic in the DC Universe saga next time around.
Arrow continues on Sky1 every Monday, and returns for a second season this Autumn.
