Star Wars isn't the only film project that JJ Abrams has coming up...
Between directing and producing both Star Trek Into Darkness and Star Wars: Episode VII over the course of the next three years, you'd have thought that JJ Abrams would have more than enough on his plate in terms of movie projects in the works for the foreseeable future. Apparently not, though, as Abrams has today revealed that he's in talks with video games developer Valve over how he will help to unveil fully-fledged big screen adaptations of hit franchises Half-Life and Portal in the years that follow his own sci-fi efforts. At this stage, all the acclaimed filmmaker is saying that discussions have begun and some exciting ideas are being raised, yet of course this being Hollywood, anything could happen in terms of a time-scale of release and indeed the actual likelihood of the films themselves being made. We'll keep you up to date on all the latest Abrams news as it comes in the weeks ahead...Star Trek Into Darkness is set for release in cinemas worldwide on May 17th, Half-Life 3 on consoles everywhere in 2014 and Star Wars: Episode VII in auditoriums not so far, far away in 2015.
