Amongst a new publicity campaign for the DVD & Blu-Ray release of James Bond's fiftieth anniversary film Skyfall, star Ben Whishaw has been chatting to the press about what's to come for the series. Whishaw played a youthful new version of Q, a role previously inhabited by John Cleese, in the twenty-third instalment and had perhaps the most active portrayal of the character yet. It should be exciting to see where Q heads next, then. Here's what the esteemed actor had to say on the matter:
- ON BOND 24: "[The cast] will probably be back together again to film that in about ten months. Well, hopefully. Let's hope so!"
- ON DANIEL CRAIG'S FUTURE: "I know that [Daniel]'s doing the next three films so I'm not thinking beyond that. We've just got to get through those first!..."
Skyfall is out now in DVD & Blu-Ray retailers everywhere, while Bond 24 is set for release in 2014.
