Ashton Kutcher's 'Men' Character Revealed

Fans of hit American comedy Two & A Half Men will likely be excited to hear the first details on who Ashton Kutcher will be playing in the upcoming ninth season. Well, although it still remains to be seen just how his character will replace Charlie Sheen's Charlie Harper in the fictional universe of the show, network CBS have confirmed that Kutcher will portray Walden Schmidt. Entertainment president for CBS Nina Tassler described the character as "an internet billionare with a broken heart", but wouldn't be pressed as to whether he would inherit the mansion previously owned by Charlie, now presumably left in the hands of his brother and nephew, Alan and Jake. Tassler did, however, confirm that Series Nine will open with a two-part story, to be broadcast over two weeks- rumour has it, this will focus on Charlie's funeral, a neat way to axe Sheen's own billionare from the programme! Two & A Half Men returns this Autumn on Comedy Central.
