Gamescom Announcement Round-Up 2

Rounding off our Gamescom Germany convention coverage, we've got a few more announcements covered below on upcoming titles coming up later this year and 2012...

• Kinect Star Wars will feature a Rancor mode, allowing players to claw at and eat unsuspecting Jawas using the giant monster from Episode VI, Return of the Jedi. It's adding to an already decent set of modes, including Jedi Adventure, Pod-Racing, Speeder Bike challenges and space battles. The game is currently set for release on November 25th.
• The first full DLC pack for Portal 2, containing a pack of new bonus puzzle maps, will be out in September. The price of the content has yet to be confirmed by developer Valve.
• Many new games and game franchises were announced to be heading to the PlayStation Vita after its release this Winter at Sony's press conference. These included: Assassin's Creed, BioShock, Rayman Origins, Virtua Tennis 4, Michael Jackson The Experience, FIFA, Call of Duty, Street Fighter X Tekken, DUST and Asphalt.
• Finally, there's a new trailer for Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary that shows off the Damnation multiplayer map, which will use the Reach engine (see the video below).
