The striking image can probably speak for itself, but as you can see the wheels of 2013 superhero flick Man of Steel have been firmly set in motion with the revelation of Henry Cavill's Superman in full costume. Given Christopher Nolan- responsible for the superb modern reimagining of Batman, a la Begins and The Dark Knight- has had significant involvement with the production of the film, the darker tone of the suit and the set as a whole comes as no surprise, all the more welcome if we're to expect something on the scale of Nolan's previous work. Can DC's latest top Iron Man 3 and Thor 2, both too hitting cinemas in the same year? From initial impressions, the question here actually seems to be whether Marvel's efforts can top this! Man of Steel is out June 4th, 2013.
