Top 10 Most Anticipated...TV Shows

Before the hiatus, I thought I'd do a quick round-up of the TV shows, films and video games that I'm most excited about for the remainder of this year, especially seeing as many of them are coming not too long after the blog returns. So, first up, here's what I reckon we should look out for on our television screens in the next four months!
#10: HOUSE- To be frank, the finale of the last season was very lacking, so House has a lot to prove this year. I'm sure Hugh Laurie and co can do it justice, though!
#9: GLEE- This was left on even shoddier territory at the end of Series Two, but the chance of new songs and moving character departures gives Glee more potential than House.
#8: COME FLY WITH ME- There's no confirmation that Series Two of this hilarious comedy coming this year, but we may get a Christmas special and if so I have very high hopes for it.
#7: THE SARAH JANE ADVENTURES- It's such a tragedy that Elisabeth Sladen has passed away, and consequently that we're losing this stunning Doctor Who spin-off, but at least to pay tribute to the talented actress we'll get to see the final three recorded episodes of Series Five.
#6: LIFE'S TOO SHORT- Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant's new comedy featuring dwarf actor Warwick Davis is showing a lot of promise, especially with cameos from the likes of Johnny Depp!
#5: TWO & A HALF MEN- Yes, Ashton Kutcher has replaced Charlie Sheen...get over it! Unless Kutcher proves me wrong, I think the new casting will prove a brilliant breath of fresh air for the fast-ageing US comedy, and I for one cannot wait to see the ramifications of Sheen's departure on the show.
#4: AN IDIOT ABROAD 2: THE BUCKET LIST- Karl Pilkington's hilarious international escapades last year proved a surprise hit for me, so getting more of those madcap events on Sky1 this September is really a welcome thing.
#3: TORCHWOOD: MIRACLE DAY- Now the pace of the series has picked up, I'm very excited to see the truth behind the Miracle, who 'the Families' hinted at in Episode 4 are and how Jack's mortality will be resolved...
#2: MERLIN- Darker romps for the other Boy Wizard, combined with more strands of the Arthurian legends? Yes, please! Morgana returns with a vengeance, and Arthur's villainous uncle bursts onto the scene in the midst of an epic struggle for power between his nephew and brother!
#1: DOCTOR WHO- There are still six exciting episodes of this ambitious new season to come, starting on Saturday August 27th with Let's Kill Hitler. We're finally going to get resolutions to the big plot arcs, including River Song, the Silence and the death of the Doctor.
