New Alvin & The Chipmunks 3 Trailer Arrives

Was 2009's Alvin And The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel (1/5) not enough to show the world that we no longer need badly animated, badly portrayed chipmunks on the big screen...? The original movie (3/5) itself wasn't anything brilliant either, offering just hints of potential in certain song numbers and gags, but any potential for this franchise to be much more than a cash-grab was firmly thrust away when the atrocius sequel arrived, so any anticipation that could have formed for the third flick, Alvin And The Chipmunks: Chip-Wrecked (let's not even start on the quality of that name) is now completely lost for everyone but its probably gullable target audience of 5-8 year olds. Heck, even if I were 8 I think I would have realised just how bad The Squeakquel was and groaned at the prospect of a follow-up! I can't guide you on where to spend your cash this Christmas should you head to the cinema, but with Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part One, In Time, Puss In Boots, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and War Horse all coming out this Winter, I know which I'd take a miss on. Nevertheless, to the point of the article- here's the new trailer for the film. Alvin And The Chipmunks: Chip-Wrecked will be here on December 16th.
