Marvel Studios have revealed an intriguing link between them and Sony Pictures that could spell out what we might see to come pass in Avengers Phase 2 if we're not looking into things deeply. Originally within the production of Avengers Assemble, Sony offered Joss Whedon and his team the use of a CGI Oscorp building in their created model of New York. Marvelites may well recall that Oscorp were the organisation who held the late Norman Osborn (aka the Green Goblin) in the Spider-Man universe. Clearly Sony were starting to think that there's a possibility that the universes of the Avengers franchise and The Amazing Spider-Man may collide in the near future. Perhaps there's a chance that the sequel to next month's reboot could hold links to the recently announced Avengers sequel? Either way, that Sony are becoming more open to the two universes meshing is certainly exciting food for thought...The Amazing Spider-Man swings into cinemas on July 3rd.
