Could follow-ups to 2009's disappointing reboot and this year's intriguing origins story be on their way?
Over the weekend, some details have begun to leak on two potential film sequels that could be in the works very soon. First up, Arnold Schwazeneger has revealed that Warner Brothers Pictures are considering making two more follow-ups to 2009's critically underwhelming reboot of his acclaimed franchise Terminator: Salvation in order to wrap up the series for good. If this is the case then you can probably expect a marked tonal shift for the series so as to get the fans back into cinemas, and a fast-paced 2014 release for the first of the two concluding entries if humanly possible for the studio. Meanwhile, it sounds as if the relatively strong commercial success of Snow White & The Huntsman has convinced Universal to go ahead with a fully-fledged sequel to this Summer's hit fantasy flick too. As Kristen Stewart is done with Twilight now and Chris Hemsworth will hopefully have a period where he's not playing his superhero alter-ego in Thor or Avengers Phase 2, this seems like a feasible undertaking, and hopefully the franchise can develop into something major in the near future. Once again, expect a 2014 release for Snow White 2 if the rumours are true, and keep it On-Screen for all the updates on these exciting follow-ups and so much more!
