E3 Week: Halo 4 Spartan Ops Trailer Released

The Master Chief gets a helping hand in the first season of DLC expansions!
On top of premiering a full gameplay demo of Halo 4 at their press conference, Microsoft have unveiled a brand new trailer for the game's co-op missions. Titled Spartan Ops, these gameplay downloadable expansions will be released in free packs every way to continue the narrative from where it leaves off and to branch into the second and final acts of the new trilogy. You'll play as either a solo or one of a team of Spartan IV soldiers in a variety of different mission scenarios, connected by CGI cutscenes that explain your objectives and the overarching narrative of what's being called 'Season One' (with more seasons to follow if the approach proves popular). As you can see, the first trailer looks pretty darn exciting, so with any luck Microsoft and developer 343 Industries can carry out on their promise of the definitive Halo co-op experience this time around! Halo 4 ships on November 6th.
