We've still got a little bit of a wait until Doctor Who returns to our screens- just over two months, to be precise. On the plus side, though, we're getting more and more details of what to expect in the upcoming seventh season. Here's a round-up of all the details of the past few days...
- MORE SCRIPTS: Well, specifically more reading scripts. As you can see here, the BBC have released another official image of Matt Smith and Jenna-Louise Coleman reading the script of Episode 11 shortly before filming a scene from the early 2013 instalment of Series Seven Part Two. The BBC are promising more official details on the series in the next week, so expect either airdates or at least more definitive broadcast windows very soon!
- MORE CLARA HINTS: The unofficial website Doctor Who TV has scooped up some intriguing alleged details on the new companion (supposedly called) Clara. She'll apparently be from present day Earth, but carry an exciting plot twist that will guide her entire journey on the show and how characters interact with her...
- MORE MONSTERS: On top of getting Daleks, Dinosaurs, Cyborgs, Killer Cubes and the Weeping Angels in the first five episodes of Doctor Who Series Seven alone, we'll apparently be seeing an all-new foe from Steven Moffat in the not too distant future too. "See this new monster I've invented?" he says, "This is a GOOD one. This will SCARE you. Oh yes." Coming from the man who gave us the Gas Mask children, the Clockwork Droids, the Weeping Angels, the Vashta Nerada, the Smilers and the Silence, I'm inclined to agree. Expect the Silence to make a return in Series Seven Part Two as well as the Fields Of Trenzalore loom upon the Doctor's fate...
Doctor Who returns in September.
