Prometheus Sequel Premise Revealed

Ridley Scott kicks off the speculation on his next movie!
No matter what the mixed consensus on the film as a whole, there's no doubting that Prometheus (3/5) has gone down a storm commercially so far across the world. Ridley Scott's latest epic looks dead set to get a sequel of some kind in the not-too-distant future, then! In many ways it comes as no surprise, then, that the lead writer and director on the original has already begun the rumour mill of what we can expect from the second entry in this Alien prequel franchise...

• ON THE PREMISE: "I'd love to explore where Dr Shaw goes and what does she do next when she gets there, because if it is paradise, paradise can be not what you think it is. Paradise has a connotation of being sinister and omnious."
• ON THE THREAT OF THE SEQUEL: "The Engineers are such aggressive f***ers. I always had it in there that the God-like creature you see in there is not so nice, and is certainly not God..."

Due to Prometheus originally being called Paradise, it's thought that if and when the sequel gets made that will be the name it gets instead. Prometheus is still out at cinemas now, and Ridley Scott is also of course hard at work penning his much-anticipated sequel to the classic Blade Runner.
