The gang are back again...next year.Disney have revealed that three brand new episodes of the Toy Story Shorts we've seen attached to films like The Muppets and Cars 2 will premiere in the not-too-distant future. Via BigScreenAnimations, the studio reveals that the Pixar animation studio are commencing work on reuniting key members of the cast including Tim Allen and Tom Hanks for these new doses of toy goodness, and that these will be standalone episodes aired on television networks across the world. There's been little in the way of updates on the rumoured fourth entry in the film franchise yet (and don't expect proper rumblings for some time even if it is coming), so for now this will have to at least suffice for the lack of a fully-fledged sequel. The Toy Story Shorts will return in Autumn 2013 and Spring 2014.
