Rock Week: Top 5 Best Rock Stars

Our Rock Of Ages build-up continues with Day Two!
Yesterday, I revealed my Top 10 Rock Anthems of all time as our build-up to Rock Of Ages' worldwide cinematic release started via the blog's Rock Week. Today we're looking at my Top 5 Favourite Rock Stars of the past and present. So without further ado, read on and rock on!
5. JOHN BON JOVI- Starting off the list is the man who gave us hits like Living On A Prayer and It's My Life among countless others, a true rocker who could pelt out some seriously impressive notes.
4. PAUL STANLEY- Next up is the lead vocal artist in the band Kiss. Stanley gets his place here for his great lead vocals on Crazy Crazy Nights, another of my favourite rock anthems that always sticks in the memory due to his performance.
3. STEVEN TYLER- The lead vocalist on Aerosmith had to be recognised here in some form. For me, it's Don't Wanna Miss A Thing that seals the deal for Steven Tyler's stellar leadership of the band.
2. FREDDIE MERCURY- Freddie died tragically young, but his music will never be forgotten. Queen stands as one of the most successful rock bands of all time, and with good reason, in no small part thanks to him!
1. MEATLOAF- And yet at the top of the list could only be the man whose sheer power and dominance of the stage commanded some of my favourite rock anthems of all time. Meatloaf's influence on the rock and music industries can never be understated, for without him, we might wonder what state the former genre would be in right now...
