Lara Croft will be back after next year's reboot!Anyone thinking that the upcoming reboot of the Tomb Raider video game series will be the last we see of everyone's favourite heroine for the foreseeable future is sorely mistaken. Crystal Dynamics' Karl Stewart had this to say when asked by VideoGamer about whether the studio's latest project was a one-off: "I have to be careful because I know exactly where [Lara Croft]'s going. You have to look at the future, you have to look at where...it's not just one game." Well, if we ever wanted more confirmation that the new title- which focuses on Lara's first adventure, as she is stranded overseas by a mysterious shipwreck- is not going to be the last we see of the franchise by a long shot, that was most certainly it. Here's hoping that the critics' scores fare well for the first game so that it's smooth sailing from here on out. Tomb Raider ships on March 5th, 2013.
