The final days of Desmond's battle for survival await!
Ubisoft have been slowly but surely teasing Assassin's Creed III for a little while now, but today they've taken a big step forward, revealing the box art for the game and confirming that its past setting will be that of the American Revolution, the 1700s conflict between America and Britain that culminated with the former's becoming the United States. It's a cool backdrop for a Creed game, to be sure, and combine that with the new gun, tomahawk and bow and arrows the unnamed new Assassin has been shown to carry in some of the new artwork and we've hopefully got a surefire recipe for brilliance coming our way. We'll be getting more concrete details on the game's consoles (will it be on WiiU?) and the new engine from developer Ubisoft Montreal on Monday at 5pm, so keep your eyes peeled on the blog at that time! Assassin's Creed III will retail on October 30th.
