A sequel to the hit animated comedy is coming next year!Despicable Me turned out to be quite the welcome surprise back in 2010, earning a healthy 4/5 on this very blog, a meritable score considering it was up against the excellent Toy Story 3 (5/5) at the time. Thus, for me and many others, the idea of a sequel isn't a bad one, so that there is a second movie confirmed is great to hear. We've now got the first poster for the film, which manages to tell us precisely nothing about it bar for the fact that the hilarious Minions are back, as well as a great funny teaser showcasing the aforementioned group of yellow workers' musical talents with a rather awesome renditions of one of the Beach Boys' greatest hits. Despicable Me 2 arrives in cinemas in Summer 2013.
