Coming Up This Week: March 4th-10th

Lara Croft is reborn, plus Iron Man, Assassin's Creed and Doctor Who all get return reveals this week, and that's not all...
If last week's quiet set of offerings were the calm before the storm, then by goodness, is this week the storm in terms of entertainment releases! There's literally something big coming your way EVERY DAY in the next seven days, something that it's been virtually impossible to claim since Christmas. Want a new game to play? A new film to watch? Previews of all new shows, films and games? There's definitely something to cater for all of those interests and so much more in the next few days ahead of us. Here's our guide to everything you can expect...
IRON MAN 3 TRAILER REVEAL- The Marvel Cinematic Universe will kick fully back into gear this April with the release of Iron Man 3 in cinemas, and this soon-to-be-released final theatrical trailer should be the ultimate element fans need to gear up their excitement for the latest motion picture to its absolute peak! (Monday 4th)
ASSASSIN'S CREED IV REVEAL- Another much-vaunted reveal finally comes to light. Earlier this week, the press were privy to the first demo of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, and now Ubisoft will reveal their new creation to the world via a trailer and press reveal. Will it be a next-gen launch title? Will it release in 2013? All will be revealed tomorrow...(Monday 4th)
ARROW: DEAD TO RIGHTS- "Kill Malcolm Merlyn." Moira Queen gave this startling order to one of her associates in the cliffhanger ending of Dodger, and now we'll see exactly what implications this turn of events has in the second and final mid-season finale before one conclusive short break between Episode 16 and the final six instalments of Season One. Dead To Rights features twists and startling revelations galore as the Hood enters into a dark game of deception which won't leave everyone alive! (Monday 4th)
GAME OF THRONES: A MAN WITHOUT HONOR- Theon is in deep water now, struggling to keep control of Winterfell, and he must go out of his way in this seventh instalment of the Sky Atlantic Season Two re-run to prove himself to his father. Meanwhile, Danerys makes a fateful discovery that could very well turn the tide in her favour- will her journey back to Westeros begin now? (Monday 4th)
DOCTOR WHO THIRD DOCTOR eBOOK AUTHOR REVEAL- In January, it was Artemis Fowl's Eoin Colfer. In February, it was Nicholas Flamel's Michael Scott. But which famed children's author will pen the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary eBook based around the Third Doctor set for release this month on the 23rd? That is the question, and it's something we're about to find out. (Tuesday 5th)
TOMB RAIDER- It's about time. For nearly four months now, we've been waiting for the first 'proper' flood of big video games to come hurtling our way for 2013, and Tomb Raider marks the very start of that trend. Lara Croft finds herself on a strange and mysterious island where secrets are waiting to be unmasked, and above all there is only one true goal- survive. At any cost. Watch out- this could be an early contender for Game Of The Year...(Tuesday 5th)
DEREK FINALE- And when this is only the week's halfway point, you know it's busy, eh? In this final episode of the first season of Ricky Gervais' comedy-drama, Derek gets a blast from the past when a man claiming to be his father rings the nursing home, while a care home resident's passing leaves a sorry impact on the remainder of the residents at Broad Hill. (Wednesday 6th)
DOCTOR WHO MAGAZINE 458- Our first official text-based look at Doctor Who's 50th Anniversary season's premiere adventure, The Bells Of St John, will appear in the new issue of DWM out on the shelves of all good retailers. On top of that, expect more news on the 50th, more episode titles and plenty more exciting reveals in this brilliant new edition of the magazine! (Thursday 7th)
OZ: THE GREAT AND POWERFUL- The first reviews are already in on Disney's latest prequel outing surrounding The Wizard Of Oz, and the verdicts seem to be strong so far. If you're a fan of James Franco, Mila Kunis or indeed the Oz lore, then this enthralling and beautiful new motion picture should be well worth your time now it's out in cinemas...(Friday 8th)
DOCTOR WHO ANNIVERSARY SEASON TRAILER- This date I've placed here isn't definitive, but it seems only right that BBC1 debut their full new trailer for Doctor Who's 50th Anniversary season on a Saturday night three weeks before the series returns for its breathtaking new run. We'll have the video up on the site the moment it arrives this week, yet this at least serves as a reminder that it's coming! (Saturday 9th)
BEING HUMAN: THE LAST BROADCAST- Another season reaches its end- and its show reaches the end. Yep, the end has come for Being Human, and the supernatural drama is set to go out with a bang. As Hal rallies his vampire armies against mankind, as Tom prepares to rekindle his old vampire-slaying schemes, as Alex lies trapped in a prison in Hell and as Captain Hatch regains full power as the Devil, can anything possibly stop the omnious prophecy 'He Will Rise'? There's only ONE way to find out...(Sunday 10th)
AND THERE'S MORE- Argo, Game Of Thrones: The Complete Second Season and Mrs Brown's Boys- Series 3 all hit DVD and Blu-Ray retailers on Monday, plus a Classics edition of the hit Rayman Origins is coming to Xbox 360 on Monday too.
AND NEXT WEEK...Red Nose Day returns, with David Brent in tow! Yes, the hit charity live show is back for more on Friday March 15th. On top of that, Game Of Thrones moves towards its epic Season Two crescendo in the eighth instalment of its re-run, The Prince Of Winterfell...
