EA have confirmed that downloadable racer
Burnout Crash! will retail on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network this August. Developed by Criterion, the game tasks players with causing as much havoc as possible when they race into the middle of a crowded intersection, crashing into as many other vehicles as they can in a set time limit. Though it doesn't seem like a Game of the Year contender in any sense, this follows a wealth of other interesting third-party titles used to beef up the bleak Summer game line-up
, Shadows of the Damned and
Catherine being good recent examples of these, so keep an eye out next month as there may be hope here for a fun smash-em-up!
