UK Gaming Charts: July 10th-17th

In case you’re new to this regular weekly article, the mediocre Wii fitness game Zumba Fitness has been ruling the video games charts for over a month now due to a general lack of major releases. Sadly, nothing’s changed recently: for the fifth week in a row, Zumba has topped the list. Movie tie-ins are slipping into the charts too, but it’s still the Mums of this world who are dominating sales simply because no-one else wants to buy any of the summer drivel with games like (deep breath) Deus Ex: Human Revolution; Gears of War 3; X-Men Destiny; Resistance 3; StarFox 3D; Forza Motorsport 4; Batman Arkham City; Battlefield 3; Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception; Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary; Assassin’s Creed: Revelations; Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3; Spider-Man Edge of Time; Kinect Star Wars; Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One and Sonic Generations; Need for Speed: The Run; Kinect Sports: Season Two; LittleBigPlanetVita; LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 and loads more on the way. Boy, do we need to get our wallets prepared…sorry, back to the list:
10. ASSASSIN'S CREED: BROTHERHOOD
9. BRINK
8. EA SPORTS ACTIVE 2
7. HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS: PART TWO
6. LEGO STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS
5. LEGO PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN
4. CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS
3. DIRT 3
2. TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON
1. ZUMBA FITNESS
