Coming Up This Week

It's the biggest week of the Summer of Film- this is the week the Harry Potter franchise concludes. You should be surprised if you can go anywhere and find Deathly Hallows: Part 2 not being promoted, as this is an absolutely huge event for cinema that should not be missed! I'll be bringing you my world exclusive review of the movie just hours after worldwide release, having seen both Parts from 9pm to 2am this Thursday and Friday. And of course that's not all, with Torchwood: Miracle Day premiering on BBC One this Thursday too, and lots more besides...
NEW MOVIES- Something called Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, not that you would have heard of that! Not much else on the big screen, but you can catch war flick Battle: Los Angeles from Monday on DVD and Blu-Ray.
NEW GAMES- Probably the least eventful genre, with only the new Captain America and Potter Part 2 movie tie-ins awaiting us this Friday, and having endured the Part 1 title I wouldn't hold out high hopes.
NEW SHOWS- Glee spin-off The Glee Project starts this Wednesday, with the producers of the musical drama in search of new talent for Season Three, and as well as new instalments of Camelot and Smallville there's the UK debut of Torchwood: Miracle Day to boot! Doctor Who Series 6: Part 1 rounds off the release schedule, marking a great chance to recap the first half of the series during the Summer hiatus.
