EA Reveal GAMEFest Titles
Retailer GAME's video game convention GAMEFest is looking to be the biggest event of British gaming in 2011, now beefed up further by the announcement of which upcoming titles publisher Electronic Arts will be showing at the event. EA will be bringing Need for Speed: The Run and FIFA 12, the latest iterations in two of their best selling franchises both due out this Autumn, to the showfloor to show off the new features and graphical advances made over the course of the last year, but much more excitingly Battlefield 3 and 2012's Mass Effect 3 will be on show at GAMEFest, sure to attract the attention of DICE fans and BioWare fans alike immediatedly. In addition to all this, already confirmed to have a presence at the event are Microsoft (so expect Gears of War 3, Kinect Star Wars, Forza 4 and Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary), Sony (Uncharted 3, Sly 4 and the PlayStation Vita are likely to play big parts) and Nintendo (which means The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, the new 3DS Super Mario and perhaps even the WiiU will be at the forefront!), so there's no shortage of gaming goodness on offer there. I'm hoping to attend the event with friends, and therefore you can expect a flurry of top-class world exclusive game previews and reviews straight from the centre of GAMEFest when it begins at the Birmingham NEC on the 16th-18th of September!
