Mass Effect Movie Comes To ComicCon
Last year, it was announced Legendary Pictures were working on a big screen adaptation of popular sci-fi game Mass Effect. We haven't heard much on the project since then, but Legendary have now confirmed that Mass Effect: The Movie (final title TBC) will feature as part of their ComicCon line-up later this month. No actors have yet been confirmed to appear in the upcoming film, however some are expected to be revealed at the conference, as well as possibly a big name director to helm the project. We do have to bear in mind that the script and feature itself are currently very early into development, so it should come as no surprise if Mass Efffect: The Movie is announced for release not next year but more likely in 2013 or '14 at best. Legendary's ComicCon event takes place on July 22nd, so look out for all my coverage on that and the first trailer for Doctor Who Series 6: Part 2 over that week. Currently confirmed to be far into development are Mass Effect 3, set for release on March 6th 2012, and an ME animated film (probably due to go straight to DVD depending on demand), set for release next Summer.
