Who: Let's Kill Hitler Synopsis Released

An advance screening of the next Doctor Who episode has been confirmed for next month, along with a plot synopsis for the new instalment. Episode 8, Let's Kill Hitler, will première at the Edinburgh International Television Festival on the 26th of August in front of major television contributors. The adventure, concluding the cliffhanger of River's reveal as Melody Pond in A Good Man Goes To War, will feature Albert Welling as Adolf Hitler and Alex Kingston as River Song. Here's the synopsis for what we can expect: "In the desperate search for Melody Pond, the TARDIS crash-lands in 1930s Berlin, bringing the Doctor face to face with the greatest war criminal in the universe. And Hitler. The Doctor must teach his adversaries that time travel has responsibilities- and in so doing, learns a harsh lesson in the cruellest warfare of all." It sounds like a very exciting start to the remaining half of Series Six, and hopefully with horror in haunted houses, strange hotels and guest stars like David Walliams and returnees James Corden (Craig) and Ian McNeice (Churchill) we'll get a more consistent run of episodes to round out another great season! Doctor Who returns in September.
