StarFox 3D Release Date Confirmed

The release of upcoming game remake StarFox 64 3D has been narrowed down to September 9^th. The title, available exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS, was originally available as a flight shooter on the Nintendo 64, and was met with critical acclaim upon the time of its release. Naturally, with the technology now on offer in Ninty’s newest handheld a graphical and aesthetic update was the next logical step given the cult following StarFox 64 received, but as with many other left-wing video games set to please certain fanbases it’s hard to predict how well this promising game will fare against the big hitters of 2011’s Autumn of Gaming such as Resistance 3 and Gears of War 3.
