FarCry 3 Co-Op Campaign Demo Released

Get a new look at the multiplayer segments of this year's hottest shooter!
Amongst the great gameplay footage we saw at the convention, E3 2012 revealed a very exciting new feature for Ubisoft's upcoming shooter video game FarCry 3- the inclusion of a full co-operative multiplayer story campaign. This should provide a lot of extra added content and value for those who sometimes feel their £40 is wasted on an 8-10 hour campaign and a simple online component, just as it's worked in the favour of games like Splinter Cell: Conviction and Portal 2 before it. We've now got a couple of new details about the extra gameplay segment, as well as a demo walkthrough video you can see below. The story of the co-op campaign follows four friends who have each been betrayed by 'The Captain', an elusive figure who they have now pursued to the island where the events of FarCry 3 will take place six months later. It's an interesting prequel set-up, and considering that most people will likely try out the solo campaign first, something Ubisoft no doubt knows, it'll be intriguing to see what background context and easter eggs the prologue story features. For the full info on the exciting new mode, check out the video below. FarCry 3 hits on November 30th.
