GTA V Release Window Update Provided

Do we know any more on when to expect the new Grand Theft Auto?
Rockstar are always cagey on their video game projects, but it's fair to say that the waiting for more news on their much-anticipated new open-worlder Grand Theft Auto V has felt more than a little unfair on the part of eager fans. Last night, it seemed as if we might finally get an update on the GTA V situation via a financial report provided by Take Two in an investors' call about Q1 2013 (i.e. April-June 2012) where the publisher was set to look forward to the future. Annoyingly, though, all the teams at T2 were able to reveal on the matter was that they've got big hopes for their upcoming projects Borderlands 2 and BioShock: Infinite in Q2 (July-September) and Q4 (January-March) respectively. This does not completely rule out a Q3 2013 (October-December) release for the new Rockstar game, and it's certainly not the T2 team's fault as they're waiting for word from Rockstar themselves, but it now seems very unlikely we'll see Grand Theft Auto return until at least a few months into 2013. Speculation is also rife that the game will be 'delayed' to late 2013 instead, as with no launch platforms announced there's a strong possibility that this could all be partly due to the idea of GTA V being a cross-generation title. We'll have to wait for more news on all matters surrounding the project, yet with Rockstar commencing a Twitter-based viral campaign famed from San Andreas to start their marketing, the wait may no longer be as long as we've had to endure before. Grand Theft Auto V remains with a 'TBA' release window for now.
