Get the ultimate insight into the modern world of Holmes!BBC Books have today announced the publication of Sherlock: The Casebook for release later this year. A new version of the analytical text The Great Game, which treated Arthur Conan Doyle's detective stories as genuine reality and had critics discuss them, this extension of sorts to what the marketing teams of Steven Moffat's shows have done with The Brilliant Book Of Doctor Who (an annual release that now seems likely to return at the end of Series Seven in early 2013) will do the same. This will mean stars like Benedict Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman and Andrew Scott are going to examine their own roles in/the narratives of A Study In Scarlet, The Blind Banker, The Great Game, A Scandal In Bohemia, The Hounds Of Baskerville and The Reicenbach Fall.
