The Twilight Saga's Ending Changed?

Could the Breaking Dawn storyline have strayed from its source?
Twilight fans will no doubt be excited to see what Breaking Dawn: Part 2 holds in its adaptation of the second half of the final novel. It turns out, though, that the storyline of the last film may not directly follow its source text all the way through. The evidence for this? Entertainment Weekly's recent coverage of the series finale brought up the idea in the following statement: "Even devoted readers of Meyer's books are in for a pretty big shock in the final third of the film, when the plot strays from the last novel in a sequence dreamed up by Meyer and longtime screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg one night over dinner. "When I first read the script, I got to that part and was like, What??" says Robert Pattinson, "And then I had to go back a page." Still, even those averse to change will be more than satisfied, and more likely thrilled, by how the series ends." I won't go into details in the way the story wraps up, but I'd say we can expect more tension and action after the lacklustre reception to Part 1 (2.5/5). We can probably expect a new trailer for the finale to arrive next month. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 rips into cinemas on November 16th.
