Daniel Radcliffe and James McAvoy are joined by the Great Detective's nemesis in 2015...
20th Century Fox have today announced a new guest star set to feature in their upcoming science-fiction film Frankenstein. A remake of Mary Shelley's classic horror text, the audacious blockbuster production stars James McAvoy as Dr. Frankenstein and Daniel Radcliffe as his diabolical Creature.
Andrew Scott will join Radcliffe and McAvoy in an as of yet unspecified role. Scott is best known for his superb portrayal of Jim Moriarty in the first and second seasons of the BBC's detective drama Sherlock, and he has since appeared in a West End one-off sequel to The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time as his now-iconic version of the Conan Doyle villain, as well as episodes of The Hour and The Town. Given the talents for antagonism the Irish actor has displayed in his most renowned performance, it should be thrilling to discover where Fox intend to take Scott in his first major big-screen role...
Frankenstein is born in cinemas worldwide on January 16th, 2015.
