Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment and TT Games have today released the cover art for their upcoming platforming video game The LEGO Movie Videogame. An official tie-in to the upcoming blockbuster (sorry!) film, the product's narrative will be based in the same universe as the motion picture storyline, although it's yet to be confirmed whether the two narratives will align directly or The Videogame's will take place in succession.
Surprisingly, there's quite a lot we can assert of the project simply from this boxart image (left). Appearing on the game's cover are Emmett, Wyldstyle, Vitruvius (voiced by Morgan Freeman), President Business (Will Ferrell) and DC's iconic superhero Batman himself. The latter has of course featured in LEGO Batman: The Videogame and LEGO Batman 2: DC Superheroes, both of which were met with mass acclaim, so his presence here bodes extremely well for the team's success. You can check out the latest trailer for The LEGO Movie below.
The LEGO Movie Videogame is set for release on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo WiiU, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo 3DS and PC in March 2014.
