More footage for Cap 2, Guardians of the Galaxy AND Avengers 2 lands this month!
Marvel Studios and ABC have this week announced the broadcast of Marvel Studios: Assembling A Universe for later this month. A behind-the-scenes documentary featuring interviews with key execs and cast members, the programme will investigate the studio's rise to fame and the superhero genre's evolution since its modern-day resurrection with X-Men in 2000.
If it were just that, of course, seasoned followers of all things Marvel might not gather much excitement for the impending broadcast. What should turn the tide of anticipation, then, is the revelation that Assembling A Universe will additionally house new footage from each of the studio's upcoming projects between now and May 2015, including Agents of SHIELD, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy and, most excitingly of all, Avengers: Age of Ultron. For all we know, the latter's contribution could just entail concept art and/or brief glimpses of filming, but that won't stop fans (us included) tuning in so as to commence speculation regarding the specific details of the Earth's Mightiest Heroes' next battle with intergalactic wrong-doers...
Marvel Studios: Assembling A Universe premières on ABC this March 18th.
