Agent Coulson Lives!It appears you just can't keep a good S.H.I.E.L.D. agent down- at the New York Comic Con, Joss Whedon has exclusively revealed the exciting news that Clark Gregg will return to his role as Agent Coulson in the SHIELD television series next year. Gregg's character was seemingly killed at the hands of the evil Loki earlier in 2012 in the hit superhero movie Avengers Assemble, and Whedon acknowledged this alleged demise at the panel, stating that naturally he knew of the potential continuity problems and will be covering them either in the pilot (which could well remain virtually individual to the main lore) or the likely full first season. Let's be honest, fans will be desperate to see the issue revolved, so we'll probably learn more sooner rather than later! SHIELD's pilot episode will air across the world in late 2013.
