Kick-Ass 2 Plot Synopsis Emerges

Find out just what to expect from the daring superhero sequel next Summer!
As hard as it might be to remember, amongst Iron Man 3, Man Of Steel, The Wolverine and Thor: The Dark World next year, there's another superhero movie heading our way: Kick-Ass 2. With the original hit having proved to be one of the best films of 2010, don't be surprised if Universal Pictures have another absolute winner on their hands here. We've now got the full synopsis for the follow-up to Kick-Ass with initial details on the plot.

It reads as follows: "After Kick-Ass' (Aaron Johnson) inspired bravery inspires a new wave of self-made masked crusaders, led by the badass Colonel Stars and Stripes (Jim Carrey), our hero joins them on patrol. When these amaeturs are hunted down by Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse), only the blade-wielding Hit Girl (Chloe Grace Moretz) can prevent their anhiliation. Red Mist assembles his own evil league and puts a plan in motion to make Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl pay for what they did to his dad. But there's one problem with his scheme: if you mess with one member of Justice Forever, you mess with them all!"

We'll likely get the first proper images and trailer for this one nearer to its release, but for now it's intriguing and exciting stuff all the same. Kick-Ass 2 bursts into cinemas on June 28th, 2013.
