Rayman's WiiU exclusive sequel won't hit in 2012.
Last year, Rayman Origins turned out to be one of the neat surprise hits of 2011, a beautiful platformer filled with charisma and innovation. Sadly, though, we won't be getting its sequel without a couple of delays. While Rayman Legends was due to launch exclusively on the Nintendo WiiU near launch day initially, Ubisoft have now confirmed that the game has been pushed back to next year. Legends focuses on GamePad play, utilising the console's new controller to access new paths, characters and adventure. Could it be a Game Of The Year contender for 2013? We'll have to wait and see, but with any luck it could be a system-seller after the launch flurry for the WiiU. The Nintendo WiiU will still ship on November 30th in the UK, while Rayman Legends has been confirmed to arrive between January-March 2013.
