Get my thoughts on Arthur's Bane Part 2 at WhatCulture!Our weekly reviews of the fifth season of Merlin will now be moving over to WhatCulture, but worry not: I'll keep you posted on their whereabouts and the scores for each episode as they come. This week, it's time for Arthur's Bane Part 2 to go under the radar, and sufficed to say I haven't been quite as enamoured with it as other critics and indeed in the comparison to the pretty strong opening episode. Here's a quick round-up of episode scores so far which I'll keep updated with a series average on a weekly basis:
ARTHUR'S BANE PART 1- 4/5
ARTHUR'S BANE PART 2- 3/5
SERIES AVERAGE- 3.5/5
For anyone who wants to keep score here, the most recent run of Doctor Who came out with a strong average of 4.8/5 and Sherlock with a sterling 5/5 (though bear in mind there were just three episodes there), so Merlin is a way out right now.
