Coming Up This Week: October 8th-14th

Bethesda return with their epic new RPG Dishonored, Merlin faces his greatest threat and Fable heads to Kinect sets everywhere this week!
The last few weeks have been packed with great releases, yet in many ways they were just the appetizers, with the blitz of the Autumn Of Gaming and many more brilliant films and shows still to come. Dishonored headlines the next seven days, but there's plenty more to watch out for too. Here's a full guide to the next seven days of entertainment...
DISHONORED- Fresh from the worldwide success of their megamoth fantasy RPG The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Bethesda Softworks are back with developer Arkane Studios to revolutionise the games industry once again with Dishonored. You play a soldier who is unjustly accused of a murder he did not commit, and Arkane have given you the keys to just about any path of play you choose. Game Of The Year? Many critics are saying such a claim isn't far off the mark, and now's the time when we find out for sure! (Friday 12th)
FABLE: THE JOURNEY- The Xbox-exclusive Fable saga has always seemed a little hit-and-miss, and to some extent no instalment has been more controversial or worrying than The Journey. Thankfully, though, Peter Molyneux and Lionhead Studios have a repetoire for quality, so with this new Kinect spin-off we should be in thoroughly safe hands, especially with the demo technology from Milo & Kate developed extensively three years on! (Friday 12th)
MERLIN: ARTHUR'S BANE PART 2- The impending threat of Mordred on the land of Camelot looms large this week on Merlin, as everyone's favourite wizard is forced to enter the Fortress of Ismere with his royal companion in order to save the Knights of the Round Table from Morgana. Will the insane sorceress find the key to Camelot's destruction, or do greater battles lie ahead...? With eleven weeks to go you'll have guessed the answer, but expect big revelations nevertheless. (Saturday 13th)
AND THERE'S MORE- Prometheus and Rock Of Ages are this week's major new retail disc releases, but you can check out Indiana Jones- The Complete Adventures on Blu-Ray too. Meanwhile, the Sky1 Game Of Thrones re-run continues, as do the new seasons of Two & A Half Men and Anger Management, so keep an eye out for those new episodes.
