Hot off the press of a conference held by Paramount Pictures to mark a filmic milestone, we've got strongly reported first details on the fourth instalment of the Transformers movie franchise. It seems that along with a cast of virtually all-new robot characters who are seperate from the original trilogy's CGI 'bots, we'll once again have two human protagonists. This time, though, it appears that the lead role may take the form of "a new female lead of a high school senior" with a "Texas racing driver" for a boyfriend. Certainly, this approach by director and producer Michael Bay would definitely fit with his idea of this new sequel proving a big shake-up and mini-reboot of the series, but we'll have to see how this story develops in full in the months ahead. Transformers 4 is due in theatres everywhere on June 27th, 2014.
