Microsoft E3: New Tomb Raider Demo

Fresh off delivering a sublime live-action trailer last week, Crystal Dynamics debuted the first in-game footage of their Tomb Raider reboot at Microsoft's E3 conference. The demo, taken from the opening of the title, saw Lara escaping a crumbling cave, but not before having to swing her way across a chasm while encased in rope and pulling a spear from her shoulder. It looks a lot more visceral and darker than before, I would have to say, and certainly with a few more big reveals regarding the survival aspects of the game in between now and its release the anticipation level for Tomb Raider should be pretty high come Autumn 2012.
