Since the announcement of Spider-Man: Edge of Time in April, we've heard very little on the game from developer Beenox. However, now we've got a full trailer which showcases the death of Amazing Spider-Man at the hands of Anti-Venom, a once life-saving experiment that has now been transformed into a monster- and more excitingly still, this tragic demise of our beloved hero is what opens the game! Spider-Man 2099 sees this, and as his timeline begins to change for the worst this version contacts Amazing Spider-Man before his death to set history back on track. It all sounds strangely similar to the story arc of Doctor Who Series Six, but playing it using the "cause and effect" gameplay mechanics should make for an interesting romp. More details will be revealed at E3 (including a full demo); Spider-Man: Edge of Time is due for release this Autumn.
