And now for the last episodes in my 'Best of Smallville' list, my utmost favourite examples of this shining ten-year spannning drama. Some of you may agree with these choices and these placements, some of you may not, and some of you may never have heard of Smallville- if you're one of the latter, get on to Amazon now! Either way, here they are:#4: ABSOLUTE JUSTICE- A much deserved two-parter, Absolute Justice gave a preview of the future as Clark teamed up with the Justice Society, while trying to build his own alliance of super heroes currently "a work in progress".
#3: LAZARUS- As you will have seen this week, this was a great return for Smallville, with glimpses of a certain suit, a certain father, a certain old enemy and a certain new one (Look at that CGI! Make the most of it, you won't see Darkseid like that again this season.), and as such the strongest season opener gets high up on my top faves list.
#2: FINALE- It's not the perfect conclusion by any means, but Finale does something to please every fan of Smallville and Superman, as you'll see in November!
#1: HOMECOMING- Surprisingly, all of the Top 3 are from Season Ten, and more surprisingly the best episode of Smallville for me comes early on in the new series, in the form of Clark's school reunion. Oh, just you wait and see what, or should I say who, the Legion have in store for the future Man of Steel, and look out for cameos from Chloe, Lana and an enemy who only the most diehard of fans will remember (can you call Metamorphasis...?)
