Torchwood: Web Of Lies Announced

The fourth season of Torchwood moves ever closer to its July premiere, and with that in mind executive producer Russell T Davies has revealed details of an online story that will run at the same time as Miracle Day's ten-episode broadcast. Titled Web of Lies, the story will be a moving comic book, as Davies describes: "This is a hugely exciting innovation, a fully-scripted animated adventure with interactive elements, with fantastic voice talents- John Barrowman and Eve Myles reprise their roles as Jack and Gwen, alongside special guest star Elise Dushku." In terms of where the story fits in with the ongoing storyline of Miracle Day, the exec said that the series will run in "weekly instalments, parallel with the events of [Series Four], adding new clues, new insights and new dangers as everyone races to find out the truth behind the mysterious Miracle..." In the same article in the official Doctor Who magazine, he also revealed that we can expect three new radio plays (starring Barrowman, Myles and old favourite Gareth David-Lloyd as Ianto Jones) and three novels that take place in between the second series and Children of Earth, all to be released over the course of the Summer. Torchwood: Miracle Day will air for ten weeks, beginning this July on BBC One and Starz in the US.
