Last year, Ubisoft Montreal announced another Assassin's Creed title was in the running for 2011, and much as some fans were worried this could simply mean the 3DS entry Lost Legacy or a new iPhone instalment, I think we all know that means a full console entry sometime in the Autumn. With that in mind, here's a few things I'd like to see when the Creed continues:
NEW ASSASSIN, NEW MECHANICS- Much as I loved AC2 and Brotherhood's antics for Ezio Auditore Da Firenze, the subtly weaker plot of the latter showed that it's time to leave Renaissance Rome and head somewhere else, and more than that add in some innovation while we're at it.
IMPROVE MULTI PLAYER (OR DITCH IT)- Let's be frank: much as we loved the multi-player modes in Brotherhood for the first couple of goes, the whole concept became repetitive- fast. In which case, developers Ubisoft Montreal have to find a way either to innovate and make it as great as the Call of Dutys of this world, or better yet ditch it and focus on the single-player campaign!
MORE TIME AS DESMOND- Amongst the best moments of Brotherhood were the sections starring modern protagonist Desmond, containing humour, tension and shocks galore (no spoilers, but the ending is exciting enough to kick start AC3), so either the third numbered entry adds in more time as the former bar-tender or focuses on him completely.
So, those are my suggestions to Ubisoft, what are yours...?
