Liam Neeson Returns To Star Wars

Although it is most certainly aimed at a younger audience, there's no doubt that Star Wars: The Clone Wars has gone down a hit with fans, offering exciting new additions to the saga mythology such as a Jedi apprentice for Anakin Skywalker and a brother to Episode I's Darth Maul, but it wasn't perhaps until now that something massive with large repercussions on the space between Revenge Of The Sith and A New Hope. Liam Neeson will return for an episode of The Clone Wars as Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn, it has been revealed by the show's producers, when Obi-Wan Kenobi enters a trance in a dream-like state and is spoken to by his former mentor. Could Kenobi recieve a warning on the dark days to come of Vader and the Empire, or to keep a closer eye on Supreme Chancellor Palpatine in the future, or is Qui-Gon simply there to help his former Padawan out of his coma to come that much closer to ending the war? No definitive details of the three-part story have been given yet other than it will revolve around Anakin Skywalker's destiny as the Chosen One to rid the galaxy of the Sith and what shape or meaning that might take for his path. Exciting times are ahead, then, for the Clone Wars, especially as Ahsoka may just turn against her Master Skywalker at the climax of the battles between Clones and Droids!
