Nintendo 3DS Launch Details Revealed
Major press events in Amsterdam and America today allowed gamers their first glimpse at the Nintendo 3DS today, not to mention the first concrete details of the handheld's launch in March. The European premiere, presented by Jonathan Ross, revealed that over 30 titles would be released for the console between the set release date of March 25th and the Electronic Entertainment Expo in June, including Pilotwings; Resident Evil; LEGO Star Wars III; Super Street Fighter IV; Rayman Raving Rabbids; Splinter Cell; Ghost Recon and Dead or Alive. That bunch is a sad reminder that we won't receive Nintendo's main sequels Mario Kart; The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time; Paper Mario; Starfox; Animal Crossing and Kid Icarus until later on in the year, or indeed the new instalments in the Kingdom Hearts and Assassin's Creed series set as third-party releases in the final months of 2011, but provided that the fan pleasers live up to expectations it could be a massive launch for the 3DS this March!
