Last year, I would have been astonished to see these promising movies not in my Top 10 anticipated of 2011, but boy is this is a busy time for the film industry. Nevertheless, watch out for all of these in the second half of this year as they could shake things up:
TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON (July)- What's sure to be the finale in Michael Bay's explosive series will take our beloved robots out to the final frontier in light of the franchise's climax, also enlisting a new romance for main character Sam all the while.
SPY KIDS 4: ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD (August)- Whether you remember them or not, Juni and Carmen Cortez went down a storm with families on Disney Channel and ultimately the big screen, now a new team (including Jessica Alba) take their place on a big mission!
JOHNNY ENGLISH REBORN (September)- Another spy film, just as light-hearted, Rowan Atkinson returns as the hilariously misguided secret agent Johnny English for mad international capers. Big laughs expected here as Ben Miller and Dominic West join!
PUSS IN BOOTS (October)- Thought the Shrek franchise was over? Think again: Antonio Baneras' feline hero Puss returns for a film of his own. We don't know a plot yet, but with Zach Galifinakas as Humpty Dumpty, we can see the money coming in already!
THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN PART ONE (November)- Whenever a book adaptation is split in half, things for its film franchise get really interesting, and if Deathly Hallows: Part One is anything to go by, the first 'half' of Breaking Dawn could be an exciting opener to the largest tale in the saga (boys rejoice- it's ending...!)
