Doctor Who Series 6- What We Know So Far

There's still a few months until Doctor Who returns to our screens, but we already know quite a bit about the new season. Here, in a nutshell, is all the info for Series 6:
1. Episodes 1 & 2 will be a two-parter set and filmed in the US, featuring a monster that's even scarier than the Weeping Angels and pretty near undefeatable, plus some the return of the fez and even more hints about River Song's identity.
2. Episode 3 is written by Steve Thompson, but we don't know much other than that it won't have too much impact on the Season 6 plot arc. Episode 4, meanwhile, is written by Neil Gaiman and may have a tone decidedly more horror-based- scary times for Who? Suranne Jones plays a character that might just be someone from the series' past!
3. Episodes 5 & 6 will also form a two-part story currently titled The Rebel Flesh and Gangers, so perhaps there'll be a war feel to the preceding tale to the Part 1 finale!
4. Episode 7 is the first season finale, and will reveal River's identity, the true nature of the Doctor and Amy's relationship and a deadly mistake Rory makes. Also, rumour has it the Cyber-Men and Sontarans might make cameo appearances here too!
5. That's about it in terms of solid info on Series 6, though speculation is escalating that the majority of enemies will be new and a character from Patrick Troughton story The War Games might appear at some point. Not too long till we know!
