Catwoman Is Playable In Arkham City

Things seem to get more exciting every month with regards to Batman: Arkham City, the highly anticipated sequel to my 2009 Game of the Year Arkham Asylum, and just before their full E3 reveal of the title Rocksteady Studios have confirmed that Catwoman will be a playable character in proceedings. Producer Dax Ginn told Gamespot some exciting new details in their exclusive hands-on:

• Catwoman is related to about 10% of the game's plot and will be available to play as for a while.
• She can be switched to from Batman at certain points to solve puzzles and do side missions.
• She can crawl up walls and fight/stealthily kill enemies just as well as the Dark Knight.
• She is involved with Poison Ivy's plans in the game, Ivy returning from Asylum.
