Coming Up For On-Screen In May

Never mind the hiatus- the entertainment industry is as busy as usual, and we'll be back with a bang near the end of the month!
This month is a bit of a strange one in some senses, with our temporary hiatus placed right in the middle two weeks of the period. That will inevitably mean that some bits of news coverage get missed out on, simply because when we return it will be impossible to write about everything, but all the most important developments in the worlds of gaming, movies and television will be recorded here very soon after May 25th. For now, though, here's a round-up of everything you will get to see before and after the hiatus...
GAME ON- I'll be playing through the remainder of The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition as well as Prototype 2 and Max Payne 3 soon after the hiatus, so expect the definitive verdicts on each of the three games. There'll be a lot of pre-E3 news too, so keep an eye on the blog after May 25th for all of that!
AT THE MOVIES- May isn't quite perhaps as strong as the other months of the Summer Of Film, yet we've still got Dark Shadows, The Dictator and Men In Black III coming for starters along with a host of new trailers. I'll be reviewing those three, and building up to the release of Prometheus on June 1st by rating each and every instalment of the Alien VS. Predator franchise so far.
SWITCH ON THE TELLY- I'll be providing verdicts on the remainder of Glee Season Three and the final ever episodes of House this month, plus covering more on the filming of Doctor Who Series Seven with Jenna-Louise filming her debut Christmas episode of the show this month...
READ ALL ABOUT IT- The Carnegie shortlist has been revealed, and I'll be reviewing the remainder of them before we find out the winner in June, as well as looking ahead at JK Rowling's new novel A Casual Vacancy!
BONUS FEATURES- I'll also be previewing the remainder of the Summer Of Film and the Autumn Of Gaming in full, and of course looking ahead at our chances for the London 2012 Olympics (will we actually win anything? Will you even care?)!
AND NEXT MONTH...Once we're back from the hiatus on May 25th the blog will be kicking into full force towards E3, the Making of Harry Potter Studio Tour, Prometheus, Snow White And The Huntsman, Rock Of Ages, The Amazing Spider-Man, LEGO Batman 2, Steel Batallion, Inversion, Spec Ops: The Line, The Dark Knight Rises, The Bourne Legacy, Transformers: Fall Of Cybertron and so much more, so look forward to a golden age for On-Screen!
